Hi, I absolutely agree, that most of the KDE articles need a major overhaul. Merging the above articles into KDE Applications may be a step into that direction, but "KDE Applications 15.12" contained 146 applications. That is an awful lot for a single article.
It's a very long list. A possible option is to group these applications into categories. Also the latest version is 16.12. This article needs some revamp. Jsamwrites (talk) 15:22, 21 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@ScotXW: I'm not sure if your comment was directed at myself, but I only placed this message on behalf of the WP:Proposed mergers page – I know absolutely nothing about the subject. The merger was proposed by the editor Dlpkbr, so perhaps you would like to get in touch with them directly on their talk page and ask what proposals they are making to move forward with this subject. ScotXW's concern is valid. Not until we have an answer to their question about how to integrate so many applications into a single article we would have enough information for an informed decision. Caballero/Historiador ⎌18:30, 12 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I think it's not necessary for the article to contain every single KDE application, as the project page is linked and always contains the most up to date version of the list. I believe that all somewhat notable apps should have a record here. I would even merge this proposal with the one above – to remove some KDE articles about software that does not seem notable and thus clean up the space a bit, give this article more usefullness. – K4rolB (talk) 18:06, 11 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
