Has I tried to explain the Karlqvist Gap is fundamental discovery and it also is explained in many books and as well as on the Internet.

The Karlqvist Gap teory is still up to date when designing magnetic heads, - if you have gap you have to calculate the gap. Therfore I think it is a value to have it also in Wikipedia. This not a PR for the person Olle Karlqvist it is only for the discovery. I have also done a small notice for Karlqvist Gap in the BESK history.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Jkq tech (talkcontribs)

Accessible sources

[edit]

This article only has three sources, and they're all in Swedish. Can someone find some sources in English? --JDspeeder1 (talk) 06:01, 17 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Better layman's explanation

[edit]

This article explains why the Karlqvist gap is important, but it doesn't actually explain what it is. It seems to suggest that it's a newer, simpler method of solving a complicated math problem, but why is that referred to as a "gap"? --JDspeeder1 (talk) 06:28, 17 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
