[edit]I do not know why I am not allowed to say anything about Karyn Hay. People wanted to know about her, so why can't I tell them?
- For a start, you haven't even spelt her name correctly. Find some authoritative sources that explain why she is notable (any book about NZ music in the 1980s should mention her), then try writing a better article using the correct spelling.Daveosaurus (talk) 19:59, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
Photo
[edit]It would be great to bring in a wider group in the discussion of which photo to use. I'm of the opinion that the more contemporary photo of Hay at her investiture ceremony (2020) is more appropriate than a photo of her from 2017 at a poetry reading, which user:Cleverge is reverting too. Would be useful to get a consensus here to avoid an edit war. Nauseous Man (talk) 22:02, 17 April 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you for the link and information. My opinion being the official NZ Government photo is too "formal" looking, and while specific to the occasion, maybe not the person generally. Cleverge (talk) 19:13, 18 April 2023 (UTC)
