Birthplace?
[edit]Is her birthplace really Boston? I guess I always thought she was born AND raised in Framingham, but who knows, maybe she was born in Boston.Bdavid1111 (talk) 18:57, 6 September 2017 (UTC)
Request for Clarification on Reversion of Engagement
[edit]Hello,
I recently made an edit, where I added that Katie Nolan is now engaged to comedian Dan Soder. This edit was reverted, and I'd like to understand more about the reasons for this decision so I can improve my contributions to Wikipedia.
I believed my edit was beneficial because it is common on Wikipedia to see whether a public figure is engaged or married, especially if their partner is another public figure. Moreover, Katie Nolan has publicized her relationship with Dan Soder on social media and announced on air that she is engagement. However, I'm open to feedback and would like to learn how I can align my contributions more closely with Wikipedia's standards.
Could someone please clarify the reasons for the reversion? I'm eager to contribute constructively and would appreciate any guidance or suggestions on how to proceed. If there are specific areas of the edit that need improvement or additional sources, I'm willing to work on these aspects.
Thank you for your time and assistance.
Best regards,

- Hi Brangston, thank you for following up - I removed the content because of the source, which is not considered reliable - there is a list of frequently-discussed sources (RSP) that can be consulted, and the WP:NYPOST is highlighted as "generally unreliable for factual reporting." According to the biographies of living persons policy, we want to be especially careful with content and sources, and the editing policy also mentions this. However, I typically do try to find other sources, so I apologize for failing to do so here. In my search now, I see Sportskeeda, which is also considered generally unreliable at RSP, and Outkick, which seems questionable based on its about page (note the owner and entry on RSP), and The Spun by Sports Illustrated. I suggest re-adding the content in both articles, using The Spun as a source. And please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.
