This should not be deleted as it clearly states the person is of significant importance - he is a capped up and coming German footballer playing in one of the worlds best leagues.

I aim to bring this page up to the standards of the German version available at [1]

IMHO Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion was wrong, the article has a {hangon}, wikikinks directed to it, the Wikipedia:Notability (people)#Athletes is clear (German profi soccer) and this (User:El gringo999) was a very new user, using in the sandbox(!).
