@Pigsonthewing: thanks for making the coords less specific – I'd started to do the same thing but had an edit conflict. I was thinking, though – what source do we have for the (precise) location? In the absence of a source to WP:V we should endeavour to be as non-specific as possible (but within the 'Magic Wood' area). I believe we can round to 52°32′35″N1°54′47″W / 52.543°N 1.913°W / 52.543; -1.913 – would that work given your knowledge of the area and/or subject matter? The 1975 report cited elsewhere in the article says "about 100 yards from Beeches School" (you can see the page here; zoom in: [1]). Your coordinates put the pin back close to Forgers Walk, whereas my intention was to move it further from there, and suitably closer to Beeches School. Note that this pin. for example, is also 100 yd.s from BS and in the area which was then scrub/ woodland; as would be one on the opposite side of the school from there.
