Life and career

The cited source was evidently written before the awards ceremony and reports on Rodriguez's expected, not necessarily actual, absence. The source says nothing at all about whether she pursued acting after the film. Monkeysoap (talk) 19:11, 7 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed the following paragraph:

Though she had been nominated for a Best Actress category at the Independent Spirit Awards, Rodriguez was notably absent from the Awards Ceremony, among others. Her co-star Taylor commented on this, saying that Rodriguez both, had personal problems to tend to, and is a very private person who prefers to avoid the spotlight. Though Tangerine was her breakthrough hit, Rodriguez did not pursue acting after the film.

No one's come forward to supply better sources for the claims, which are largely gossip. The cited source, in fact, attributed the part about personal problems to unnamed "insiders", not to Rodriguez's co-star. Monkeysoap (talk) 19:40, 14 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
