An OMEGA transmitter at Lampedusa? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.46.214.102 (talk) 15:40 (UTC), 7 April 2008

Nope! I just corrected it in the main article as there was just a Loran-C transmitter there. In addition, Marco Bartolo was not really "the base's civilian administrator". He was hired as an interpretor and did other administrative work. I should know, I hired him while I was there in 1982-1983 as CO. In addition, it was always a NATO base. Perhaps not as formal as may have been after the "attack". Don Opedal —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.179.230.228 (talk) 22:08, 29 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

X ray?

[edit]

" the X-Ray secondary station" in the first line reads oddly to me. Surely it's not X-rays but low frequency radio waves? 86.155.0.186 (talk) 16:00, 21 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
