Talk:Lady Dedlock

If individual characters from Lord of the Rings or Coronation St deserve a place in Wikipedia, then I can see no problem with a central character from one of Charles Dicken's greatest novels. It is odd, however, to have an entry for Lady Deadlock and not for other major characters. Perhaps what is needed is some sort of WikiDickens project to do this for Dickens novels.

Structure[edit]

I agree that one of the most ambivalent characters in perhaps Dickens' most complex story could justify a character page. I believe it should be based on the character in the novel, rather than any of the screen adaptations, and should be more than just a synopsis of her role in the plot. I have made an attempt at that, but a bona-fide Dickens scholar will surely do better. Swiveler (talk) 18:15, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
