Image

[edit]

Recently, LisaLambe01 change the infobox image on this page. The former image was this:

whereas the new image is this:

Since Ms Lambe is known as a singer, I feel the former image better represents her in the role for which she is known. The newer image could be anyone -- it's just a woman sitting on some rocks by the ocean and does not illustrate the subject in the contet for which she is known. The user who made this change is presumably THE Ms Lambe, who has been trying to distance herself from her past association with Celtic Woman (a performance of whom the former image is taken), but Lambe is best known for her involvement with Celtic Woman, and would probably not meet Wikipedia inclusion criteria were it not for this stage of her life, so attempts to whitewash it from her article appear misguided.

I would like to invite discussion about which image best illustrates the page. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 04:10, 8 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

In the absence of any dissenting opinions, I'll restore the original image. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 18:10, 14 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I vote to restore the original image. It's clearer, the new image is less about her, and more about scenery. Joseph2302 (talk) 16:11, 23 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, the image that Ms. Lambe inserted doesn't seem appropriate. However, the other (current) image is rather unbecoming in my opinion. I would vote for this shot: http://thestar.ie/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/Picture-101.png Pekoebrew (talk) 03:20, 26 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
