Article split

[edit]

Splitting the series into individual season articles is unnecessary at this point, and it certainly doesn't fall within the WP:SIZERULE guidelines. Simply copying and pasting test from the main series article and adding an overly detailed cast list won't justify giving each season its own article. See here and here for a thorough discussion about premature article splitting. -- SchrutedIt08 (talk) 22:32, 23 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. There seems to be a headlong rush to split these just because they are multi-season series, but with no substantive content in the split articles. Unless the splitting editor is prepared to build articles that contain new and notable content, this article should stay intact, particularly given how short these seasons are. --Drmargi (talk) 06:19, 1 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
When is Season 2 going to star airing in Britain? --81.129.206.58 (talk) 18:44, 7 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Page image

[edit]

I wondered what other editors thought about the "Hannibal" logo on this page. It doesn't have the look of a standard image on a wikipedia page, it looks like a homemade image. I don't know if there was a previous image that was replaced by this. Just wanted to hear what other editors thought. Liz Read! Talk! 23:07, 24 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It's a self-made image based on the Hannibal logo featured in promo posters (File:Hannibal key art.jpg). It has a transparent background and is not displayed as a thumbnail, to give it a "clean" look on the article (which I personally like). Several other LoE pages have a similar setup (List of Game of Thrones episodes, List of The Office (U.S. TV series) episodes, List of The Walking Dead episodes, List of Arrested Development episodes, List of Breaking Bad episodes, and others). Graham's Wounding

[edit]

I think the S02E13 summary is good, but I didn't quite like the phrase "nearly guts Graham" -- seems to mis-describe the actual passage of events. My own replacement ('mortally wounds') is maybe 'better,' but not quite right either. What would serve as a concise yet accurate term? ("Deals him a brutal, disfiguring, life-threatening knife-wound") Sskoog (talk) 03:46, 29 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Season 1 production numbers

[edit]

I've recently come across this which links to PDFs of the Hannibal scripts that Bryan Fuller has posted on his production company website, and there's differences between the production numbers that appear here. The differences, per the scripts are "Amuse-Bouche" is 102 not 103, "Potage" is 105 not 102, and "Sorbet" is 103 not 105. I can't remember what the original source was for the production numbers. Should we change the production numbers for these episodes per the scripts? Comments? Thanks. Drovethrughosts (talk) 23:46, 9 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I absolutely believe we should change the prod codes to match the interfabrics of the series. Thanks for finding this BTW. Cheers, LLArrow (talk) 00:19, 10 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I'm going to go ahead and make the changes. Even though the official scripts should be enough to make the change, I've done some more searching that verifies these new production numbers are correct. When NBC releases promo photos for episodes, the captions always state the production number and not the air date number as confirmed by these various links: [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6].
