U.S. in title, US in article

[edit]

Any reason this shouldn't be moved to List of US Highways in Michigan to be consistent with all the usages of "US Highway" within the article? The Rambling Man (talk) 08:17, 11 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@The Rambling Man:, per WP:USSH, the title has the dots, although there is a discussion about dropping those at WT:USRD#Major proposal to rename USH articles, however, Michigan's articles have been using the dotless form per CMOS 16 and the allowance at MOS:US for a while now. Should that discussion determine that the dotless form preferred by Google search data for the past decade, and CMOS for the last 6 years, should be used, then the articles will be retitled accordingly. Ok, thanks. It does seem very anomalous to the "unknowing eye" when the title and the opening part of the lead are formatted differently from one another, yet still emboldened. The Rambling Man (talk) 10:11, 11 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Shouldn't US-33 be added to list? USRoute66 (talk) 01:11, 14 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@USRoute66: US 33 is in the list, right between US 31 and US 41. Imzadi 1979  01:21, 14 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
