WWE POV?

Should we mention that only WWE considers the WCW Light Heavyweight title and the WCW Cruiserweight title to be one in the same, and that WCW didn't? ---SilentRAGE! 00:45, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The WCW World Light Heavyweight Championship and WCW/WWE World Cruiserweight Championship were two different titles. WCW never considered them the same titles, WWE rewrote the history and linked the history of the two titles, which I thought was against the rules of Wikipedia. It's against the rules for us to re-write history. WWE owns the rights to those belts, so they can consider them the same title if they want. It's already noted that WCW did not consider them the same title. TJ Spyke 17:43, 27 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

But WWE also considers the World Title (Gotch/Hackenschmidt etc), NWA World Title, WCW World Title, and the current World Title(WWE) the same title? Seeker of the Torch (talk) 17:23, 1 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I could swear that WCW DID consider them the same title, but I don't have any references. I do know that Pro Wrestling Illustrated always considered the WCW LH championship the same as the cruiser championship (check any of their Almanacs). Weight column

I think it would be pretty cool if we listed their bill weights as a column in this table since weight is a factor in this title, just so people know how close to 215 their billed weights are. Ranze (talk) 03:55, 9 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
