Selection criterion

Hi QuincyMorgan, what is the WP:CSC for List of dam removals in Alabama and for List of dam removals in the United States respectively, and what is the difference between them, i.e. what decides which entry goes where? —Alalch E. 01:16, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Alalch, good question. I started these state-specific lists because there are too many dam removals in the US to put in one list (around 2,000), and most aren't notable enough for their own article. I'm planning to rewrite the US article to contain only notable dams once the non-notable items are present in state-specific lists. QuincyMorgan (talk) 01:40, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
