Incomplete

[edit]

List incomplete, 0474 (and presumably others) are missing. See http://www.comuni-italiani.it/tel/ -- Treer (talk) 01:18, 9 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Error in article

[edit]

The italian National Numbering Plan is administered by AGCOM (www.agcom.it) and not Telecom Italia which is one (although one of the biggest) of TELCO's operators in Italy. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.34.159.140 (talk) 10:47, 10 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Merge

[edit]

I added a merge tag to suggest bringing the contents of Telephone numbers in Italy#List of codes, so that there's only one list we need to keep. Also, it's worth noting that (at least for the Salerno province), the codes seem to be specific to the intermediate "circondario" administrative level, rather than being a single code for the whole province. That should be taken into account when doing this merging. I checked the data for Salerno by verifying that the communes listed at each of its circondarios (Sala Consilina, Campagna, Salerno and Vallo della Lucania*) had the same code, using this online tool. The same could be done for the remaining provinces.
* this circondario has been merged into the Salerno circondario, but it still uses a separate code
