This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because the Teylers Stichting is encyclopedic and the directors of this foundation were usually people of relevance in their environment. The fact that most of these people don't have an article yet probably says more about our coverage of that field and era than about the directors. I would appreciate it if people can specify in what way the page should be improved, and am open for discussion of course. effeietsanders16:24, 4 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The museum has been nominated for Unesco status, mostly because of its unusual history as a snapshot in time of the Dutch Enlightenment. Most of the members and directors were active themselves in the dissemination of creation of educational materials. Jane (talk) 11:25, 6 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
