"It's not on Jetix!"

[edit]

I've never heard that these programmes are airs on Jetix. I (or someone) tagged {{fact}} to these programs.

--성혀니talk with mesee my work 01:49, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Don't forget, another show that is not on Jetix--not in the U.S. or worldwide--is Star Trek: The Next Generation, which isn't a kids show. The show was produced and distributed by what Paramount Television became known as CBS Paramount Television. Don-Don 22:30, 27 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Another show that it might air, but SHOULD NOT air on Jetix is CSI: NY in which it, like Star Trek: The Next Generation, isn't a kids show, either. Of course, both CSI and Star Trek are owned by CBS Paramount Television. Don-Don 22:51, 28 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Other

[edit]

I fixed some inforations to these programmes.

--성혀니talk with mesee my work 01:49, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unforunately the claim that Jackie Chan Adventures is not coming soon to USA is actually false and there are two references that I can use to prove it. First there is this link: http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?p=2248699 Secondly the Commericial for Toon Disney has been airing stating that Jackie Chan Adventures will be airing on Jetix is September which I had personally seen for myself and can verify. -Adv193 03:03, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The commericial did say it will come on Tuesday Sept. 5 at 7pm -Adv193 03:13, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Although I'm not living in US, I saw JCA on Cartoon Network USA home page. ([1], Not listed there now.) (or I confused with CN Latin America home page.) Sorry, I was wrong. --성혀니talk with mesee my work 14:08, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The truth is that Jackie Chan Adventures was one of the many programs from other Tv networks that used to air on Cartoon Network. It wouldn't surprise me that they took it off of their website at the JCA was removed from their lineup. -Adv193 00:15, 24 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Video Games?

[edit]

Can somebody PLEASE tell me what video games are doing on this list? Jetx is a TV broagramming block.

I got rid of those. Mewtwowimmer 22:54, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Major revamp needed

[edit]

It might probably be best if the page was started over from scratch, starting with just shows from the US and Europe and gradually adding more. There were shows listed such as Teletubbies. This is just plain crazy! --Libertyernie2 22:15, 5 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm certain that at some point, Teletubbies was on Fox Kids in Spain. Mewtwowimmer 22:01, 25 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Should this be a list of current programs, or current and former programs? --Libertyernie2 00:49, 13 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ernie's right. It should be a combination of current AND former shows. Mewtwowimmer 02:04, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
How would we distinguish former shows from current ones in the list? I think maybe going with just the current ones would be better, as the list is so large. --Libertyernie2 19:41, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Former shows (e.g. Teletubbies) could go to a new section in this article. Mewtwowimmer 22:39, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

How about this: We could have currently airing show's subscripts in red, so an entry might look like this:

for a program currently airing in the US and UK and formely in France. --Libertyernie2 19:03, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The electric company

[edit]

Who said that show aired on jetix? It's a PBS show!Internetcrazy 12:15, 27 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This page is a disaster!

[edit]

In my opinion, I think these shows do not belong in this list and here's why they're misplaced.

  • 007 the Animated Series: Never heard of it.
  • "Arfenhouse: the Animated Series": Nonexistent.
  • Bob the Builder: This show is for younger children and probly doesn't belong.
  • Crashbox: WTF?
  • The Dog: No such show.
  • Doom: That's a video game!
  • The Dumb Bunnies: Yeah. I like this show.
  • The Electric Company: Where?
  • The Fairly OddParents: It's a Nickelodeon-produced series, but what the hey! In Italy it's on Cartoon Network, not Jetix.
  • Final Fantasy: Huh?
  • Fire Emblem: OMFG!
  • Hamtaro: Is there a Jetix in Portugal?
  • Hot Wheels: Seriously?
  • The Legend of Zelda: Not made into cartoon.
  • Lucky Luke: Hanna-Barbera produced.
  • My Gym Partner's a Monkey: Cartoon Network original series.
  • Oobi: Baby show.
  • OWL/TV: Never heard of it.
  • Pee-wee's Playhouse: Owned by Viacom.
  • Peppa Pig: Too babyish to be on Jetix.
  • Popeye: Squirepants101 doubts this.
  • The Powerpuff Girls: Cartoon Network wouldn't want Jetix to air this.
  • Robot Chicken: Holy beep!
  • The Simpsons: Owned by 20th Century Fox
  • The Smurfs: Hanna-Barbera produced.
  • Star Wars: Clone Wars: Cartoon Network produced this; Jetix can't air.
  • Teletubbies: I love this. Wait! Jetix can't accept this!
  • The Tofus: What?
  • Viva Piñata: Not in UK.
  • Yu-Gi-Oh! is on Nick in the Netherlands. Misteroonova 21:06, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Some of these are shows that used to be on but aren't anymore. Anyways, I think we should do a complete rewrite. --Libertyernie2 17:00, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the electric company from the list because it doesn't state in which country Jetix airs it in. Plus it's an educational show. I know this because my mom watched the electric company when she was a kid. The show ended in 1977 so since it's 2007 it's been canceled for at least thirty years.Internetcrazy 12:20, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with the many people who have said the same thing. I saw Cowboy Bebop on this list and that is most asuredly an adult program. This page is one of the most unreliable in any and all Wikipedia pages including other languages. If Wikipedia had a featured article for worst page, this would be one of the top 10.スミス ナサニアル 06:04, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As far as where certain shows air on Jetix, it all depends on who owns the rights to the program outside of its country of origin. For example, Nelvanna has the rights to The Fairly Oddparents outside of the U.S.,and that's a Nickelodeon show, it's seen on non-Nickelodeon channels in some countries. 65.173.90.94 11:52, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I cannot imagine Arfenhouse on Jetix in Germany. I think maybe it was a Tommy Wimmer inclusion, since he has vandalized this page before and is obsessed with pretending he is Misteroo, one of the original creators of Arfenhouse. 71.231.56.40 (talk) 22:31, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Legend of Zelda - yes there is a cartoon, but it was made in the 1980s, and predates Fox Kids, let alone Jetix! Rocko's Modern Life and The Ren and Stimpy Show are both owned by Viacom (I think both are Nicktoons) so I'm removing them from the list, as they'd both be on either MTV or Nickelodeon instead. Digifiend (talk) 23:40, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Restart from scratch

[edit]

There are many complaints above about the accuracy of this long list. None of it has ever been referenced, despite it being so tagged since August 2008. I've deleted the unverified content and suggest that those with an interest in the topic take the time to re-build the list using only information that can be found in reliable sources, as required by our verifiability policy.  —SMALLJIM  22:17, 28 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
