Original research?
[edit]I think this list is good, but there is a few errors. The Echoes booklet and The Pink Floyd Encyclopedia states that it is Syd Barrett and Rick Wright who sings lead vocals on "Astronomy Domine" and it's David Gilmour and Roger Waters who sings lead vocals on "Another Brick in the Wall" (Part 2). The list of vocals on live renditions lacks some information, Roger Waters sang lead vocals on some occations on "Welcome to the machine". The problem of this list is that it has no references at all. Some of this info can be found in Vernon Fitch's "Pink Floyd Encyclopedia", but for somealbums you have to look other places. There is not detailed information in the CD booklets, except the Echoes compilation. Floyd(Norway) (talk) 02:01, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
Yes some of this was original research. However, Rogers vocal on Another brick is double tracked which is why it sounds like 2 voices. I dont have any ROIOs which have Roger singing lead on Welcome to the Machine, he does provide some backing vocals throughout the 1977 tour though. In regards to Astronomy - havnt i put that? If you are referring to the live Ummmagumma version (which is what im talking about), it was Gilmour and Wright who sang it after Syd left. Ummagumma23 (talk) 21:01, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
- No, it' s David and Roger who sings Another Brick part II. If you listen carefully it's easy to hear the voice of both of them. And if you use PF Encylopedia, Fitch and Mahon's book about The Wall or Echoes booklet you'll find that Gilmour AND Waters sang lead vocals on this song. The same about Astronomy Domine (Except Fitch and Mahon's book which not cover Astronmy Domine). On most of the song it's Syd and Rick who sing harmonies to each other. Ok, your right David does sing on Another Brick, i will change that. In regards to Astronomy, im talking about the live versions played after Syd left the band in 1968 (for example on Ummagumma). Thats Rick and David singing, with possibly Waters providing backing vocals. Ummagumma23 (talk) 10:49, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
Zabriskie Point Additions
[edit]I didn't see "Country Song" listed from the 1997 reissue. Should that be added? Joe Hoskinson —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.186.43.76 (talk) 14:42, 16 April 2010 (UTC)
- Yep. I added it.Father McKenzie (talk) 18:22, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
What Shall We Do Now?
[edit]I was surprised to see that "What Shall We Do Now?" isn't on the list. It is in the movie "Pink Floyd The Wall", and it was on several of their live albums.--Snowconeboy789 23:22, 25 February 2011 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Snowconeboy789 (talk • contribs)
- I agree. Added.Father McKenzie (talk) 16:18, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
"The Hard Way" and "Wine Glasses"
[edit]These songs were recorded for the unreleased album Household Objects, but they were released in the Inmersion Box Sets of The Dark Side of the Moon and Wish you were here respectively. Why aren't they on the list? Amb1997 (talk) 15:44, 28 October 2012 (UTC)
1994 studio recordings on The Later Years
[edit]Shouldn't we add the five new songs from The Later Years album? (Blues 1, Slippery Guitar, Rick's Theme, David's Blues, and Marooned Jam) ItsMichaelRay (talk) 04:29, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Relics?
[edit]I noticed that some songs here are listed as not being released on any official albums, however they are on the 1971 compilation "Relics". can I edit them to say that they were released on relics? Dvdmovies123 (talk) 17:31, 10 March 2021 (UTC)
