Clarifications
[edit]1. Was Thurstone a eugenicist, or influenced by the statistical arm of the eugenics movement (as were Pearson, Fisher, Yerkes, etc.)?
2. Is there any way to provide background information for the jargon used here? For example: factor analysis, the idea that "relative scale locations" are invariant for group(s) measured. Something like "the coefficients of correlation of contingency" needs its own article to make much sense.
3. Why was Thurstones "opposition" to the Binet mental-age scale representation of intelligence so strikingly unsuccessful?
4. If you make a summation of the normal distribution, you get the logistic, so this distinction made in the article between Rasch and Thurstone is not clear.Gsmcghee (talk) 22:14, 16 December 2009 (UTC)

Intelligence Citations Bibliography for Articles Related to IQ Testing
[edit]This article needs a lot of expansion. I have posted a bibliography of Intelligence Citations for the use of all Wikipedians who have occasion to edit articles on human intelligence and related issues. I happen to have circulating access to a huge academic research library at a university with an active research program in those issues (and to another library that is one of the ten largest public library systems in the United States) and have been researching these issues since 1989. You are welcome to use these citations for your own research and to suggest new sources to me by comments on that page. -- WeijiBaikeBianji (talk) 21:15, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
