Archaeology or Archeology

There are two spellings used throughout the article, which one is preferred for the article, archaeology or archeology? -- Marco 04:30, 23 September 2018 (UTC)

I would use "archaeology," but I'm not sure it matters. I think what matters most is using a consistent spelling throughout. →Wordbuilder (talk) 16:18, 23 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
