very well done. I am putting on hold so that you can address the issues noted below. Again, you are the expert and editor, but I am just raising these points for your consideration.

  1. Is it reasonably well written?
    A. Prose quality:
    • change "Previous to 1969, M-20 extended" to "Prior to 1969, M-20 extended..."
    • change " running concurrently along the freeway to" to " running concurrently along the US-131 freeway to"
"US freeway" still confuses the reader
    • change "a system of highways importation to the nation's economy, " to "a system of highways that are important to the nation's economy,"
    • change "The business loop turns north by campus" to "The business loop turns north by the campus"
    • change "downtown Big Rapids, north of campus." to "downtown Big Rapids, north of the campus."
    • add "(NHS)" after "National Highway System"
    • I am not sure that the Tridge is a formal name. If it is not, it should be in quotation marks.
    • change "This routing would be redesignated as US 10" to "This routing was redesignated as US 10"
    • change "[[U.S._Route_16_in_MIchigan" to "[[U.S. Route 16"
    B. MoS compliance:
    • "(NHS) ," - check for spaces in front of commas.
  2. Is it factually accurate and verifiable?
    A. References to sources:
    B. Citation of reliable sources where necessary:
  1. C. No original research:
  2. Is it broad in its coverage?
    A. Major aspects:
It is very easy to miss any historically significant items. If you have researched the route, I will trust you that it is complete.
    B. Focused:
  3. Is it neutral?
    Fair representation without bias:
    Well done.
  4. Is it stable?
    No edit wars, etc:
  5. Does it contain images to illustrate the topic?
    A. Images are copyright tagged, and non-free images have fair use rationales:
    B. Images are provided where possible and appropriate, with suitable captions:
  6. Overall:
    Pass or Fail:
All of the suggested copy edits implemented. The proper name for the The Tridge is just that, so no change was made there. I appreciate any further suggestions you might have. Imzadi 1979  05:15, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
