Redirect?

I'm confused. This page was made into a redirect, and all content was copied onto Manisa Basket.

And then I get even more confused, because then there's Manisa F.K., which this page (Manisa Büyükşehir Belediyespor) originally redirected to.

What needs to happen here, if anything? Because this is odd to me.

What I'm gathering is that the club changed names. But the history on this (clarification edit: the pages here on Wikipedia) is convoluted. Advice appreciated. OIM20 (talk) 06:40, 20 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If both articles are about the same club, it would probably be a good idea to merge them, see WP:Content forks. If they're about two separate clubs, there's likely nothing more to do here. Manisa F.K. is a seperate football club, which should not be redirected to Manisa Büyükşehir Belediyespor, I don't know the reason behind.

The owner of Manisa Büyükşehir Belediyespor has been changed this year and they changed the club name to Manisa Basket also they even changed the color of the club. So starting with this year onwards, there will be Manisa Basket only to compete in Turkish league.

I don't have to much to say about Manisa F.K. article, maybe need to be deleted?? Erincoktem (talk) 09:12, 20 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
