'War crime' categories

[edit]

This article has been included in a couple 'war crime' categories. Should't we have a source describing the event as such before including in these categories? ---Another Believer (Talk) 22:24, 21 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Mayor of Mariupol

[edit]

The mayor of Mariupol, Sergiy Orlov…

What?! I lived in Mariupol to March 24. Vadym Boychenko was mayor of the city from 2015, and officially he take this post to present time. From February 27 he live in Dnepr or Zaporozhye, but other mayor was appointed only in May 2022 by Russian occupied forces. And I don't know who is Sergiy Orlov (may be someone from Mariupol mayorate or city council). Azovian (talk) 21:20, 22 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

he's the deputy mayor apparently, fixed though Dawsongfg (talk) 01:07, 6 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I propose merging Mariupol art school bombing into Siege of Mariupol, because it is just one of the many Russian bombings of the city which does not have in-depth coverage by RS (compared to Mariupol theatre airstrike or Mariupol hospital airstrike, for example). Support but don't do it like that, do it like merge the bombing into the siege Dawsongfg (talk) 01:01, 6 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Support per nom. Not enough coverage. HappyWithWhatYouHaveToBeHappyWith (talk) 06:11, 7 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
