Emily
[edit]Emily Maitlis is quoted as praising Mary Ann Sieghart on the latter's web-site.
Repeated appearances in Private Eye
[edit]The article omits one of Ms Sieghart's chief claims to notoriety: the satirical magazine Private Eye has regularly referred to her as "Mary Ann Bighead". This should be included to balance the rest of the article, which mostly reads like an introduction to a speaker at a public event, designed to big up the speaker as much as possible and convince the audience that they're about to hear someone very important.
