Meard Street pronunciation

As a member of the family who owned the Leasehold of nos 4 and 6 Meard Street as L Negin and son later N. Negin Dyers and Cleaners and Alteration Tailors from approximately 1910 - 1965 I must suggest a correction or addition to this entry. I visited my grandmother there in 1935; I am 92.

The local pronunciation of the name of the street always rhymed with 'beard' not 'heard'.
