Editing

I've been editing this just for grammar, but there's something that's unclear. The apartments for the emperor, are they visible or can they be visited? The original word used is "displayed", and I'm not sure what that means. I never remember seeing them when I lived near Metz but that was many years ago now. Can anyone help?
