Maintenance tags
[edit]This article needs inline citations for references (not a jumble at the end of the article) and an encyclopedic tone. The tags should remain until the article has been properly edited. Alanraywiki (talk) 03:41, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
Never seen a more blatantly advertising article as this. Obvious who was writing this, really. If I knew how to add the template:Speed deletion, I would do so. 137.226.181.93 (talk) 13:24, 24 July 2011 (UTC)
Upcoming book
[edit]The following paragraph has been added, deleted, and readded:
"Author Kathleen Tracy<ref>Tracy is a journalist of over 20 years and the author of over 30 books, including biographies of Jerry Seinfeld, Don Imus, Judy Blume, and Sacha Baron Cohen.</ref> is completing a biography about Sabo’s life, identity theft, and his rehabilitation. The book, to be titled ''Trust Me: The Michael Sabo Story'' also will serve as a guide offering consumers tips on how to protect themselves from fraud, identify theft, and [[cybercrime]]. Publication is expected in 2011."
This information is unsourced and promotional in nature. I am removing again per WP:PROMO, but invite others to discuss here why it should or should not stay. Thanks, 72Dino (talk) 19:05, 26 July 2011 (UTC)
Verification of article contents
[edit]A great deal of the information in the article as of a half hour ago was unsourced. I have found sources to support some of it, but I have hid the rest for now. If I cannot find proper verification soon, I will delete it in keeping with the BLP policy. It seems that User:Fcimiami may have prepared to create a page for Sabo. Perhaps the sources there could be of use. --Jprg1966 (talk) 04:04, 28 November 2013 (UTC)
- I think some of the information (e.g., "100 false identities") may have come from his website. --Jprg1966 (talk) 04:33, 28 November 2013 (UTC)
Questionable notability
[edit]Based on the sources, Sabo appears to be a run-of-the-mill con artist without anything to set him apart. Now he's allegedly a motivational speaker or consultant. How is he notable? Laval (talk) 18:06, 21 October 2020 (UTC)
