Improve or delete this article[edit]

I came across this article while reading the article on Infantry. In my opinion, this article is atrocious. The editors can't agree whether this article is about social conventions or military definitions. The quality of the writing is extremely poor, and the editors can't agree on whether 'elite' is singular or plural. I think this article should be cleaned up quickly, probably with a broad delete, and I believe it is so poor that deleting the entire article might be the best solution.Jarhed (talk) 04:05, 29 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I agree this article is terrible and I second everything Jarhed said. It's been eight years since then and it seems like the article has only gotten worse.Pokerplayer513 (talk) 21:31, 2 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
