Logos

[edit]

There is a discussion to clarify ousr policy/guideline on the use of sports team logos. Please see Wikipedia_talk:Logos#Clarification_on_use_of_sports_team_logos if you wish to participate in the discussion. Johntex\talk 16:24, 4 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I added an infobox, a gallery, and a couple of tables, as I'm sure you all have noticed. I think there should be a basic template or pattern that all pages about conferences follow, regardless of how prominent they are. I also added "Classification" to the Infobox as this is a necessary component of a conference's identity. I think some of the logos could be tweaked a little, Bethel and Macalester in particular, but I really want to thank colslax for uploading all the logos that I did use. Lastly, the encylopedic information is a bit lacking, but it's a pretty good page for a D3 conference. As I said, hopefully we can get all the conferences, from the NAIA to I-A, to have the same look, feel, and flow to them. Let me know if you're interested! --Cliedl 20:41, 6 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Basketball Arenas

[edit]

Many of the Basketball Arenas listed are actually hockey arenas. I suspect the information was gathered from the MIAC website (as I see the SMU Ice Arena and Ridder Arena both listed in the Arena column). I gathered information for the NCAA record books about arena and stadium capacities, and will shortly correct the information here. --Colslax 18:11, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Conference Titles

[edit]

Can someone tell me what the "c" means after a year? See the Football Championships. Ryanjcole 06:48, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

there should be a note under the table showing C= co or shared champions Smith03 13:19, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Conference Facilities

[edit]

Maybe to pacify some we should change the header from Conference Facilites into Facilities or Athletic Facilities. That way for schools that still play the sport but under Club/Independent or some other Conference we still show they do have a facility. --Khoogheem 19:17, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
