Datation ?

[edit]

Datation 602 given in the lead in not backed by quotations, and moreover not clear. For such a big monument, we should have a time for decision and a time for reception. The Korean web page suggests that reception=638 and says nothing about construction. The other references are even more evasive, saying between 600 and 641 (the whole range of King Mu's reign). Another example: Koreana.

Tongue in check : the author of Mireuksa: When Fact Meets Fable tries to use "the Queen of 639 was the daughter of Jwapyeong Sataek Jeokdeok (佐平沙乇積德)" to prove "the Queen of 602 was not" ... and he gives the Seodongyo's picture of Princess Wooyoung instead of the picture of Seonhwa !
