Some POV

[edit]

This is a sweet little town. Awesome for geology field trips. I hope the general store keeps its "Mayberry" old-timey image.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 134.134.136.3 (talkcontribs) 19:32, June 7, 2005

Climate data

[edit]

This small town of about 130 people almost certainly does not have a NOAA-certified weather station with climate data. The Desert Research Institute knows of three nearby: [1], [2], [3], each quite different from the others. There was once a fourth station nearby, but it did not record temperature data and indeed was only in operation for a few years in the 1960s.

Since the town has no weather station, we are essentially making one up if we include data here, unless we include all three and mention that they are for the surrounding area. And I think three weather stations would be excessive for such a small town, particularly if none of them really represents the town itself. Soap 20:55, 18 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
