Pronouns

[edit]

Here, Historyday01 re-added :"She uses she/her pronouns, while Noelle uses any pronouns". While this is true, it is unencyclopedic trivia. "She" is the pronoun normally used by women, and throughout this article, making its explicit mention redundant. It is an unremarkable aspect of Ostertag's character, and given that we have no secondary sources reporting on it, we should not mention it any more than, say, her hair color or her last meal. As to "Noelle uses any pronouns", we refer to people by their last names, and the pronoun choices of Ostertag's wife are not a matter for Ostertag's article (but for her wife's, where they are mentioned). Well, I thought it was at least worth the effort, with the new pronoun template. Anyway, I get what what you are saying and I'll just add it to this page instead. Historyday01 (talk) 18:25, 26 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Page move?

[edit]

Wondering what people think about moving this page to Molly Knox Ostertag. All of her published books since 2017 have been under that name, as have her television credits on The Owl House. Her social media uses the full name, as does her website's banner (though the About Me page uses the short form). Media tends to be inconsistent; articles about her use both forms. I can make a formal move request but I wanted to test the waters first. --Max Talk (+) 02:39, 16 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Max Schwarz, good question. At first, I thought that Molly Ostertag was more well-known, but I put together a chart to help,

Obviously, this isn't everything, but its just a quick search I did, better than comparing Google Hits — Preceding unsigned comment added by Historyday01 (talkcontribs) 20:58, 15 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I completely forgot about this until recently. I think I'll just go ahead and move it; if there's pushback we can always revert it, but I don't think there will be. --Max Talk (+) 04:58, 4 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
