Inconsistencies between name of the subject and article title

[edit]

This article has the title Monwabisi Kwanda Mbeki, yet the subject is named as Monwabisi Kwanda Mpahlwa. Why the difference? The CRITERIA for an article title includes using a recognizable common name, so I can understand how the title arises. But the article needs to explain how the title relates to the subject's given name. If the subject was primarily known by his mother's family name, but is mistaken known in some sources by his father's family name, then both should be given and the usage in sources explained in the article, using words like alias, also known as ..., reported in some sources as ... or similar, to describe the naming duality. Preferably this should be alluded to in the LEAD section, though it can be explained in a separate SECTION if this is too complex to explain in a few words, as might be the case if a person changed their name for some specific reason or event. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 22:44, 30 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
