In my view, WP:NPOL applies here because he is a member of the provincial cabinet, similar to caretaker cabinet members. Even though they are not elected, they hold a cabinet-level position, making them notable. Sheriff | ☎ 911 | 14:52, 28 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
SheriffIsInTown, No, NPOL doesn't apply here. I don't recall the discussion at the moment, but I can look it up for you. There was a consensus that even caretaker federal ministers do not fall under NPOL and they have to meet GNG.
