Book with similar premise

The Woman Who Went to Bed For a Year (2012) by Sue Townsend has a similar premise. Did anyone compare these novels? Yoninah (talk) 20:34, 30 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A cursory search didn't reveal any comparisons by professional critics, but they may be out there. I read the premise and although I've only read the Moshfegh book the differences seem pretty superficial past the title and vague contours of the plot.⁠ — Mainly 23:58, 30 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
