Despite what was claimed here, utilizing MDY date format on a Japanese topic as a replacement for that country using YMD is not an "MoS disruption". The article consistently used MDY before this date. Like several other Asian countries, Japan uses YMD, which we don't utilize on the English Wikipedia, so that means we can use either DMY or MDY. Most pop-culture Japanese topics I have seen on en.wiki use MDY. There was no good reason to change this to DMY, and I have reverted to MDY. Ss11205:54, 2 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
