The New York Times states LaMott played Carnegie Hall in the following article:

Goldberg, Carey (January 14, 1996). "Three Women and Their Journeys in Song;A Sweet, Songful Life Lost As It Was About to Start". The new York Times. http://www.nytimes.com/1996/01/14/arts/pop-music-three-women-their-journeys-song-sweet-songful-life-lost-it-was-about.html?sec=&spon=&pagewanted=2. Retrieved on May 31, 2009.

However Billboard has the manager stating she died 6 months before she was suppose to play Carnegie for the first time in the following article:

Billboard April 9, 2005 Reissues Keep Cabaret Singer's Flame Alive

I am just going to keep it in and cite the NYT article. Any issues with this feel free to change. —Preceding unsigned comment added by ConsiderIt (talkcontribs) 13:48, 31 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
