Copy edit
[edit]At this time, this article has potential WP:BLP issues due to its poor sourcing. I've posted about this on the BLP noticeboard. Until that action is resolved, it's premature to copyedit this article, as it's possible that large parts of it may need to be removed as unsorted. // ⌘macwhiz (talk) 15:48, 15 September 2010 (UTC)

17th man on Everest?
[edit]This page has Gombu being BOTH the 11th and the 17th man to summit Everest. Yes, I can understand that- for the same reason that Grover Cleveland is BOTH the 22nd & 24th US presidents. The problem is that Sonam Gyatso's page states that HE is the 17th person to summit Everest (17th individual). You really can't use different criteria to get the same numbering. It affects subsequent figures. CFLeon (talk) 08:19, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
