System Requirements Infobox
[edit]Why is there an infobox with system requirements located in top-left of the article? That requirements are interesting, and should be kept in the article. But if there is a prominent infobox in top-left cornert, then it should contain the specs for the yaroze console, not the PC requirements!
In the past some years, that infobox has been (more than often) mistaken as containing the yaroze console specs, leading to conversations like this: http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?44666-What-modchip-is-this&p=726867&viewfull=1#post726867 with people believing that the yaroze console would have 4MB RAM, would run at 66MHz, and would have internet capabilities.
And, the "Mb" in 4Mb and 10Mb is common for "megabit", which is very unlikely for PCs of that time, and also unlikely for RAM and HDD size notations on PCs in general. This article gives better specs: http://www.absolute-playstation.com/api_faqs/faq13.htm (saying that it's 4MB and 10MB, which commonly means megabyte) --2OO.3OO.2OO.3OO (talk) 06:45, 8 February 2014 (UTC)
Available in stores?
[edit]This article claims the Net Yaroze was only available through Sony. Back in the days of PlayStation, I had a friend who has been to downtown Newark, New Jersey, USA (I am not in contact with this person anymore). While he never purchased and I never visited, he exclaimed that a particular video game store sold the black PlayStation that played all regions and you could create your own games. I will have to do my own research but can anyone confirm that stores did in fact sell the Net Yaroze? If not, then the stores must have been selling them illegally. That city of Newark is known for it's high crime rate and all the cheap non name brand stores. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.249.115.102 (talk) 02:31, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
If you check out this website, which has a report from Sony about the Net Yaroze on it, you'll see that Sony quite explicitly state that the Net Yaroze will only be available by mail order. Presumably, your friend bought a second-hand Net Yaroze console that someone else wanted rid of! http://www.absolute-playstation.com/api_faqs/faq13.htm -Tallen90 (talk) 11:16, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
Sales figures available?
[edit]Does anybody know how many were sold? Irrogalp (talk) 07:45, 21 August 2011 (UTC)
Which languages were available?
[edit]The page says CodeWarrior was included, but which languages did it support? I assume C, C++? Also Pascal? QVVERTYVS (hm?) 17:53, 13 June 2014 (UTC)
Officially by Sony only C but we had access to assembly (CPU use only) and a GNU C++ compiler uploaded by a member. I'm not aware Pascal was supported. I was a member: mgarcia dot org — Preceding unsigned comment added by 155.143.41.154 (talk) 08:05, 19 September 2018 (UTC)
