I have added sources from the White House nomination, Senate Confirmation, as well as some 3rd party articles and videos. In addition, I've added tagging so that she is more easily identified with the Department of Health and Human Services, where she serves as the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response. As the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response, Dr. Lurie is responsible for leading the civilian public health emergency response for our nation. Her responsibilities are ongoing and not linked to a single event. Her position can be verified in the citiations from the White House, Department of Health and Human Services, and the Senate.Elizabeth.Jarrett

I have added references about Dr. Luriem including an official statement from the White House (President Obama Announces More Key Administration Posts), HHS Press Release (HHS Secretary Sebelius Announces Senate Confirmation of Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response Dr. Nicole Lurie), and her biographical sketch from UPMC's Center for Biosecurity. As a public figure who heads the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response, Dr. Lurie is in charge of all of its offices, including the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority and the National Disaster Medical Service, both of which have multi-billion dollar budgets. I've also added links to articles that she has published which are currently available on public websites. I have also added her to the Category Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response. I hope that this addresses your concerns - please let me know if it doesn't.Elizabeth.Jarrett (talk) 18:33, 25 May 2010 (UTC)Elizabeth Jarrett[reply]
