Help To Add Infobox

[edit]

Please help add the person infobox. TacitusIndicus (talk) 05:20, 8 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Done, feel free to fill it out as best you can. Avicennasis @ 11:00, 9 Elul 5771 / 11:00, 8 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I suggest to add an image in the infobox. And BTW, I have placed this thread in a section! --Tito Dutta (Send me a message)

The sympathizer of Nigmanand Saraswati made a specific wild and baseless complaint on the name of Professor T D Dogra when medical board of experts was being constituted and in progress to give opinion, now repeatedly some one is removing his name from this biographical article, it is unfair, the sympathizer have all the rights to put up their views but they should be honest enough to state the truth so that any one having a question or re-investigating can contact otherwise it will be one sided biased story , hence do not hide the facts...... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.161.208.174 (talk) 07:56, 27 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

– This is going to be a dificult move. Let me try to explain. There are at least two different Nigamananda in house.

  • We had already the tile Nigamananda reserved for Nigamananda (Paramahansa), since Paramahansa is an honorific title we did not use it)).
  • Now, when we had to create another article on another Nigamananda Saraswati we dropped "a" at end of the name and created Nigamanand. This spelling is alternative but incorrect spelling of person's name.

checkY First I'll try to show Nigamanand (for Nigamananda Saraswati) is incorrect spelling

Support for the spelling "Nigamananda" of Nigamananda Saraswati

Okay, I have given too many references. But, if you are aware of the conflicts that occurred in some Indian religion and caste related articles, then I hope you'll not mind the number here.
Now we can't move this "Nigamanand" to "Nigamananda" since the title is reserved. That's why I am requesting to move both articles to new titles and make "Nigamananda" a disambiguation page.
I am not sure where to move since both "Paramahansa" and "Saraswati" are honorific titles and may be the reason to start another RM. But, that's the only and the best solution I can find at this moment. That's all for now! Tito Dutta (talk) 03:41, 16 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support - not that Hindi is the magic benchmark for northern India, but with both Hindi names+titles so similar स्वामी निगमानंद परमहंस (d.1935) and स्वामी निगमानंद सरस्वती (d.2011), the solution TitoDutta offers makes sense. And even though the recent Nigamananda doesn't have a hi.wp or Bangla wp page it is at this name in local media and forums. In ictu oculi (talk) 00:29, 17 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
