[edit]completely new to this,so bear with me here.I changed a spelling error ("do to" changed to "due to") and deleted the line about Niles having 2 non-fast food resturants-Rvierfront Cafe and Millennium Steakhouse. Reason being 1.) Niles has more than 2 non fast food restaurants (The Nuggest, Pete's Patio, The Hob Nob, etc), 2.)Millennium Steakhouse has gone out of business, and 3.) it was a somewhat random line that felt awkward and out of place to begin with. No offence meant to the original author, of course. 99.181.150.27 (talk) 04:55, 10 February 2012 (UTC)
- Hi. Your edits were completely constructive and appreciated. I disagree with one portion of your rationale, though. Pete's Patio is not in the city, but just north of town. However listing of individual businesses is never really appropriate, outside of businesses that have notability on their own (ie a Wikipedia article on them) or as part of a listing such as largest employers. Thanks for being a Wikipedian and welcome! Gtwfan52 (talk) 20:17, 11 February 2013 (UTC)
Just a minor thought. Maybe we should honor the Native Americans who not only "owned" the land before the Europeans came but they also captured the fort during Pontiac's Rebellion for a short time. They didn't have a flag but maybe Niles should be called the City of Five Flags.
