Re making the page

[edit]

5 years later since the page was deleted. "La Dispute" and "Touche Amore" have full and complete wiki pages, it is time for the label's page to get established. They are reviving the vinyl-based record label. If I can have a few days time to create and establish everything, I will be able to make this page much better. This is my first time creating a page, please be patient. Animation Liberation (talk) 09:51, November 17, 2012‎ (UTC)

Subjects deserving a Wikipedia article must pass the General Notability Guideline (GNG), which reads as follows: "If a topic has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject, it is presumed to satisfy the inclusion criteria for a stand-alone article or stand-alone list." The link I have provided also details what each individual part of this sentence means. Based on the article's current condition, I would say it does not meet the GNG. There's only one source, but it doesn't give any information about No Sleep Records. Instead, it gives information about Somewhere at the Bottom of the River Between Vega and Altair. If you want this article to survive a second deletion, you're going to need to do some research to find some third-party articles about No Sleep Records. You are also asserting that No Sleep Records shouldn't be deleted because La Dispute and Touche Amore have articles. However, Wikipedia articles cannot inherit notability from other Wikipedia articles, you must demonstrate that No Sleep Records is notable independent of La Dispute and Touche Amore. I have added some pieces to follow what is common practice on other articles about record labels. Being my first record label style article I am trying to work with what I know already. I have some good sources I was going to place here for other editors to use:
