[edit]- "Margaret's brother, arrives just in time to see his mother on her death-bed" - not sure why there's a comma, were you planning to include his name there?
- "scenes not in the novel" - not sure about the use of the word "scene" here...why not just "something that does not appear in the novel" or something like that, since you're talking about trains.
- Don't regions of London (West London, North London) need a capital W/N as they're proper nouns?
- Perhaps merge the last sentence into the prior paragraphs
- All the BBC award refs need publisher info (as does ref 5)
- BBC shouldn't have italics in ref 6
Everything else looks OK. Leave me a note when done. Cheers, dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 06:03, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

North and South vs. North & South
[edit]Just curious to learn why the title of the series on the Wiki page uses the word "and" spelled out rather than the ampersand (&) that appears in the programme's titles and on the dvd case covers? IMDb uses the ampersand; it helps to distinguish the programme from the US Civil War mini based on John Jakes' series of novels. BellyOption (talk) 19:03, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
- See also Pride & Prejudice (2005 film) and Pride and Prejudice (1940 film). BellyOption (talk) 19:06, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
- Agreed, fixed. Softlavender (talk) 13:32, 11 October 2011 (UTC)
