Expansion plans...?
[edit]Northgate is a very diverse and interesting school, and this page doesn't seem to represent the full breadth of its student programs and activities.
My thoughts as to what to add:
- Clubs!
- Athletics: Let's add some more teams...there are a lot more.
- Graduation Requirements
- Extracurriculars
- Academics
Any other ideas as to what to add, implementation, etc., would be appreciated. Feel free to leave any comments on my talk page as well.

It seems that most of the Performing Arts section should be under Academics, not Extracurriculars. Among instrumental music, only the marching band is an extra; all the other programs mentioned are regular courses. Among vocal music, Vocal Ensemble, Mixed Choir, Treble Choir, and Concert Choir are regular courses (Bella Voce, Il Coro, and Madrigals are extracurriculars). All of drama is regular courses, with the Improv League being extra. It would require some rewrite to split this but I think it's worth the effort.

Mariet Ford
[edit]Removed this from Trivia
- -Mariet Ford, a key participant in The Play during the 1982 Cal/Stanford Big Game played football for the Broncos. He was later convicted of murdering his wife and child and is currently serving a lengthy prison sentence.
It says nothing about Ford attending Northgate High School, which is why I think it was added. If someone can find a reference, to when Ford attended, please feel free to add it back in to the article. --EarthPerson 15:19, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
- I thought the fact that the Broncos mentioned in the original sentence were the Northgate Broncos was clear from the context, but I realize now that perhaps that was not the case. I've restored the edit with modified language and a link to a San Francisco Chronicle article on Ford from a few years back.66.234.197.34 02:00, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
- Nice addition! When I was reading it, I think I was reading that I was thinking of some other Broncos, since I'm not familiar with the CAL or Standford mascots. Looks good. Can you find enough for an article on Mariet Ford himself? --EarthPerson 14:15, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
Notable Alumni
[edit]I have been adding people to the notable alumni section, particularly for 1986 alums. I don't think every notable alum has to have his/her own Wiki page. That is, someone who is publicly identifiable or published in popular culture should be OK. Clearly Babb-Sprague qualifies as she does have her own page. Hastings is probably debatable, though he is on Amazon and Taguba/Prest is on TV... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.35.155.230 (talk) 06:00, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
I took out Lil' Wayne as he as never graduated from Northgate. I have looked and never found any site to verify that-all sites say he grew up in Louisiana. WildMustang09 (talk) 21:06, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
So why were Babb-Sprague and Hastings removed? And Tim Carter? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Drbeechwood (talk • contribs) 14:01, 24 August 2017 (UTC)
