Content
[edit]This article is sort of a disaster. It seems as though most edits have been blatantly partisan in one direction or another. Have already cleared out the 'controversies' section since it was incoherent, missing citations and had a heading with no accompanying text. I am thinking of taking a metaphorical axe to large unsourced, non-NPOV parts of the article. Badly in need of attention.
Section on controversies needs to be rewritten: reporting in the case of the needle drop was no more than usually biased and can be sourced relatively easily. The Revolutionary Communist Party controversy, on the other hand, will be more difficult. The press coverage of the events in question were reproduced wholesale from an internet posting made by the Revolutionary Communist Party and were therefore riddled with unproven allegations and factual errors. The event was an important moment in the history of the camp regardless of partisan perspective in any direction, and deserves to be recorded. I am not sufficiently familiar with sourcing guidelines to do so myself. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.162.185.62 (talk) 17:58, 1 March 2012 (UTC)
Rtnews template
[edit]I've removed the Russia Today news template from the page, as it had raised concern because it pointed to a single trending news page, rather than a selection of trend pages, and after discussion in the appropriate places, it's easier to remove it than it is to add lots of other trend pages, as I don't know of any (don't have time to look). If there are any comments, concerns, or suggestions please reply on my talkpage, as I don't watch this page. Penyulap ☏ 05:09, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
