Should this article be renamed to LEDA 2046648 ? That seems a more appropriate name. I can only find a references to PGC 2046648 in HyperLEDA, but I think that is stricly an internal name for the object. Even the citation from the article to simbad doesn't list PGC 2046648 as an alias. The JWST refers to the galaxy using its LEDA number. NED doesn't have this PGC number either.
