Highest point

[edit]

I think this claim is not true.

To this day it is the highest reference point between Terazije and Slavija.

Beogradjanka is far higher --91.148.102.175 (talk) 11:49, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Albania or Albanija?

[edit]

I am of the opinion that the correct English name of this building ahould be "Palace Albanija" with a 'j', just like for instance the building Beogradjanka isn't translated as Belgrader in English. We're not talking about the country Albania which has various names in various languages, but a building whose name is simply "Albanija" in every language, not "Albania" in English, "Shqiptare" in Albanian and so on. Names are not necessarily translated the same way ethnonyms are. --Abvgd (talk) 13:16, 21 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

First skyscraper in SE Europe?

[edit]

As far as I know, the first skyscraper in Yugoslavia was the Nebotičnik in Ljubljana, built in 1931, that is, almost a decade before Albanija. Viator slovenicus (talk) 01:37, 4 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
