Palamu (disambiguation) → Palamu – There is no primary topic. Onlk (talk) 22:52, 24 January 2023 (UTC)

- Support per nomination and Ortizesp. Uncontroversial technical request — Palamu currently redirects to Palamu (disambiguation). —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 07:56, 25 January 2023 (UTC)
- Not inherently uncontroversial. The nominator changed where Palamu targeted a minute prior to posting this move request. Before all these edits were done, Palamu targeted Palamu district (or a redirect towards it) since 2005. Steel1943 (talk) 16:29, 25 January 2023 (UTC)
- Weak oppose due to no evidence being presented why the primary topic for the term "Palamu" is not Palamu district, which was the target of Palamu since 2005 until the nominator changed the target a minute prior to creating this nomination. Steel1943 (talk) 18:33, 25 January 2023 (UTC)
- User:Steel1943 I agree with you that it is potentionaly controversial move, that is why I opened this discussion. When I search 'Palamu' in google or in scholars.google I do not see that the district is much more likely than all the other topics combined—to be the topic sought when a reader searches for that term. --Onlk (talk) 21:22, 25 January 2023 (UTC)
- @Onlk: Understood, and thank you for the explanation. However, just letting you know, since you did not state any of this in your nomination statement, it could seem like you trying to mislead the community with this nomination, especially since you moved the page before starting this nomination and making it look solely like an uncontroversial WP:DABNAME situation. In other words, it really should not be up to someone who is not the nominator to discover and explain why the nomination is taking place. Steel1943 (talk) 21:28, 25 January 2023 (UTC)
